A typical hanging weight for a whole is 400 lbs which would cost $2500 and amount to approximately 270 lbs of individually wrapped finished product. When purchasing a beef share, you buy the live animal from us and we deliver it to the processor. We then pay the butchering fees and pick up the meat for you and arrange to get it to you. All numbers are estimates since animals butcher out at varying weights. We request a $500 deposit to secure your beef and the remaining amount (calculated on final hanging weight of the individual animal) is due upon delivery.
